Unit 4
annoying: causing annoyance; irritatingly bothersome.
amusing: causing (someone) to laugh or providing amusement.
upsetting: tending to disturb or upset.
browse: to eat or feed on bushes, leaves.
plug in: an attachment at the end of an electrical cord, inserted into a socket for electric power.
scroll: a roll of papyrus once used for writing.
unplug: to disconnect by removing a plug from an electrical connection.
gap: a break or opening.
squeeze: to apply pressure to (something) in order to force out juice, sap, or the like.
warn: to give advance notice to, esp. of danger or possible harm.

burglar: one who commits burglary
mugger: a person who mugs, esp. one who assaults a person in order to rob him or her.
murderer: a person who commits murder.
arson: the crime of deliberately setting fire to property.
lawyer: a person whose profession is to represent clients in a court of law or to advise or act for them in other legal matters.
fraudster: a swindler
forgery: the crime of falsely making or changing writing or a signature.
mugging: an assault or threat of violence upon a person, esp. with intent to rob.
pickpocketing:one who steals from the pockets of people, as in a crowded public place.
household: the people of a house taken as a group.
local council: a body appointed or elected to give advice, to make rules, or to administer an organization.
evidence: that which tends to prove or disprove something;
proof.
kidnapping: to carry off (a person) by force or trickery, esp. for use as a hostage or to get money;
abduct.
